One of few offering BUN and creatinine testing for your safety

The intravenous (IV) contrast material used during certain types of tests can cause contrast-induced kidney problems, especially in patients who have underlying poor kidney function. Fairfield County Imaging offers blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine testing before giving IV contrast to make sure you have normal kidney function before the administering of the contrast or dye. This is one of the many latest advances provided to you when you are under our care at Fairfield County Imaging.

Fairfield County Imaging - Xray and Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy

Fluoroscopy lets us see real-time movement within your body as it happens. It is used to help examine the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract and as a guide for certain interventional procedures.

X-ray Imaging

X-ray is the oldest and most frequently used form of medical imaging. X-rays can produce images of the human body on film or digitally on a computer screen. X-ray involves exposing a part of the body to a small dose of radiation to produce an image of the internal organs and skeletal system. When X-rays penetrate the body, they are absorbed in varying amounts by different tissues.
